JARL

Jarl is a french "Post Folk band" from Rouen, in Normandy.

The members all come from a mixed background of metal, HxC and progressive rock scenes. Keen on writing deeper, more meaningful music, they created this folk project that's more spiritual, true, with heart and soul.

Jarl vibes are just like the ever changing Normandy weather, sometimes acoustic and filled with melancholy and sometimes harsh and electric. This contrast brings a variety of songs that come each with their own atmosphere, feelings and storytelling.

Each song is inspired by a picture, a scene or a movie.

Jarl recorded their first album at the "Castle Recording Studios" in Nashville, Tennessee and it was released in May 2023.
